The official ground-breaking ceremony for the fire station remodel was held the evening of Thursday, April 20th. Members of the fire department and fire board got together with our general contractor from G.H. Phipps to officially declare this project underway. Actual work on the internal demolition of the station began on April 10th, and the entire interior of the part of the station being revamped has already been removed. Pictures are posted on our website. As we go forward, pictures of the station at its current level of progress and progress updates will be periodically. Updates will also be sent to this email list.
