Regular Meetings

The CLVFD Administrative Meeting is held at 6:30 pm on the first Thursday of every month; all firefighters and auxillary are expected to attend. The attendance of any interested community member is welcomed.

The Fire Board Meeting is held at 7:00 pm on the third Thursday of every month. The attendance of any interested community or fire department member is welcomed.

The Auxiliary meets every other month on the third Wednesday at 1:00 pm. The attendance of any interested community or fire department member is welcomed.

All regular meetings are held in the Fire Barn at 237 Blackfoot Road (map).

Firefighter Training

Firefighter training is held at 6:30 pm on the second and fourth Thursday of every month. During summer months, training may be rescheduled to include some longer and all-day trainings.

Special Events

Crystal Lakes Volunteer Fire Department holds several special community and fund-raising events throughout the year.

A community garage sale benefiting the Fire Department, the Fire Barn Sale is held every OTHER year by the CLVFD Auxiliary on the Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend at the Fire Barn.

Hosted by CLVFD Firefighters and Auxiliary, the Fourth of July Celebration is our way of giving back to the community. Held near Crystal Lakes Basecamp, events include a parade of Fire Engines and ATVs, an ATV decorating contest, music, food, raffles, and games for the children.
In the fall, CLVFD takes part in the Crystal Lakes Labor Day Craft Show at Basecamp, on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend, selling CLVFD t-shirts and sweatshirts and holding a silent auction of craft items donated by community members and craft show vendors. **Anyone interested in donating an item for the silent auction, please contact Kate Kelly at 881-2049.**
