Work Session Purpose: To discuss the increased price for the new tender bid

The new bid is for $193,813.00 vs. the $165K for the earlier bid. The increased price includes the 2007 emissions on the chassis. It also includes the traction control, Porta-Tank and the front mount monitor nozzle. The breakdown is 93k for the chassis and 100k for the apparatus.
The total chassis cost is due upon arrival of the chassis at MidwestÕs factory and the remainder will be financed.
After some discussion Joan moved that we approve the new quote. Ray seconded the motion.
The motion passed unanimously. We also had a brief discussion about the 800MHz radio vs. the VHF system and the heater in the meeting room.

Joan moved to adjourn Ray seconded. Meeting adjourned.
